Suicide Notes, a novel I've finished recently, overall has a quirky and unique style of humor. The main character, Jeff, finds himself in the psychiatric ward of the hospital, with bandages on his wrist and a staff of doctors and nurses that only want to make his life more complicated. He denies that he has a problem, and attempts to persuade the doctor (that he has nicknamed 'Cat Poop') that he is perfectly fine and does not belong 'with the nutjobs'. Filled with wit and realism, I definitely will put this novel among my favorite stories.
